Hi there,

I planned to reset my TURBOSIM, due to problems (after approx 3 min, NO SIM INSERTED messages appear).


Thats what I did: launch ssh connect and then the commands:

# launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
# turbo-reset
initializing modem
AT+CPMS="SM","SM"
ERROR
modem initiated

MY PROBLEM:
there ist no further message as OK or ERROR. the process just hangs.

Anyone a clue what to do ???

As far as I know is turbo-reset not a real reset of the TSIM.
Try to put the TSIM with ur original SIM (so not the AT&T sim) inside any other phone then your iPhone. Make sure you put a PIN in the Original SIM. When the phone ask fo a pin just enter the TPIN that is delivered together with your TSIM (inside the plastic package). The phone will react with a wrong pin message. The TSIM is reset now.

Acttually turbo-reset does hard reset, turbo-rm-apps not.

is there any possibility to reset it without the TPIN ?
what if your girlfriend saw the package and thought it's some garbage and....
i e-mailed bladox at the end of december but didn't receive any answer till now.

I have the same problem, any turbo-* command just hangs after:

# ./turbo-rm-apps -v -b57600
initializing modem
1 -> ATV1
1 <-
1 -> ATE1
1 <-
1 -> AT+CPMS="SM","SM"

And no, I dont have TSIM reset pin code. Is there anything that can be done to get turbosim back to life?
