A turbosim with empty turbohandler prevents a USIM having 3G access. Without turbosim there is 3G access.
What's the reason and how could it be fixed? |

| The reason is that there isn't/wasn't/hasn't been much demand for it. Anyway we have already something implemented and testing it now. |

Good  It's actually already 2 years, mmm, we are so lazy...
We are driven by customers - what they want/need. And as for real USIM support there is/was quite low demand. Now with iphone 3g there is some hype so it gets more priority.
For long time we also talk about new devices - we would like to release this together. Can be very soon but this time we are preparing really volume production and this takes more time than expected. |

Hi Pz,
I am in Tokyo until August 16th - then I go to Hong Kong and Shenzen until August 21st (when I will return to Australia).
I am with my partner who can speak Mandarin and Cantonese (and has good contacts with computer/component suppliers in Shenzen). So, if you need anything done/found in Shenzen please let me know.
Also, of course, we can do testing in Australia.
I I can find Pavel'd direct email address I may send him a similar message.
