If I got it right, the current firmware upgrade chain is
PC/MAC (btldr) <-USB-> TurboProgrammer <-> turboadapter.trb <-> bootsection_TSIM
While your TurboProgrammer has a lot of capabilities, I imagine there are some people with a TSIM that just like to have a convenient way to upgrade their TSIM once the 3G firmware is ready.
It would be very kind of you if you could also provide this upgrade chain:
Phone (ibtldr) <-> bootsection_TSIM
Would this be technically possible?

P.S.: If it doesn't work with phone, e.g. because you might use a very low level protocol for programming, at least it should be possible to provide a btldr_phoenix that can speak to a phoenix programmer. As from the electrical layout you cannot use something different than phoenix / smartmouse, can you? |
