Hi,

This is my first TurboSIM development, so bear with me if I'm doing anything really wrong...

I got a Turbo Motion 2, and I am trying to learn it.

I installed the precompiled Linux toolchain (avr1.tgz) and turbo-devel librairies.
I downloaded the latest autoalarm application, modified the makefile so that it points to the path of the turbo-devel libraries. I then did "make", and used avr-objdump --turbo to create a .trb file.

I then connected the Turbo Motion 2 to the edge connector of the Turbo Programmer 2, and used the btldr application to upload.

It went through the various steps (erasing flash, copying to SRAM, copying to flash) and said the process has been completed successfully.

I removed the Turbo Motion 2 from the Turbo Programmer 2, insered a SIM card, and insered the TM2 fake SIM into the phone.

The phone says "NO SIM"... what did I do wrong ?

The TM2 serial number can still be read from the PC (and it says bootloader version 4), so it's alive, but the phone doesn't detect it. I have tried with different phones, no success.

Please help! Thanks

Was your TM2 working befor you uploaded your .trb file?
You can not upload a .trb file with btldr application, use cemu application for this.
Read the Tutorials pages available here http://www.bladox.com/docs.php?lang=en

Reset TM2 with "cemu --reset" command.
Download Auto Alarm application from here http://www.bladox.com/app_autoalarm.php?lang=en
There is autoalarm.trb file in bin folder - load it into your TM2 as described in tutorial - use "cemu --app autoalarm.trb"

Well, I'm not sure: how can I know if it's working before I load an application on it? Very Happy

Do you mean that I flashed something I shouldn't?
Maybe I have erased the device kernel! I tried downloading it from the Bladox Downloads page, but it's nowhere to be found. I also sent an e-mail to Bladox about this, but so far they did not reply.

Where can I download the kernel ? I would like to try reflashing it.

I connect the TM2 to the TP2 SIM connector, run the `cemu --reset` command, and all I get is :
SIM mode initialized, sim.trb
NO SIM

I tried both with and without a SIM card in the TM2.

Same thing: it says NO SIM

Any idea?
Thanks

All Bladox's products are shipped with firmware/applications installed and are working.

Probably yes.

It is necessary to have a SIM card in TM2 when cemu is used.
Be sure that you have good contact between programmer and TM2. We recommend to remove SIM lock door and use clothes peg to keep device in SIM lock in place.
