cable-utils on TAVRIX

me again,
I could not get the cable-utils to work, using the TAVRIX cd. The result is:

$turbo-info
initializing modem
Segmentation fault

I rebuilt the application but the new binaries did the same thing. Under windows, the supplied binaries work (on the same machine). Is there anything obvious I could be doing wrong?

My guess is that you have serial cable/phone on different port. Can you try "turbo-xxxx -d /dev/ttyS0"? (the ttySx denote serial port, 'S' is capital).
