hi,

i do have a simcard with STK provided by cellphone companies.
i want to decode/debug the Message/SMS sent when i access the specific menu like

when i access the sim menu thru my phone
> Get latest movie

my phone nokia3530 will say "do you want to send message" ?
when you press OK, it will send SMS message to the phone company
and replies to me the latest movies.

How can i know
*what specific keyword
* what messages did the menu sent?
*what number was it sent?

will i be able to know the message sent by the SIM menu using TurboSimToolkit ?

thanks

Yes, you can use the Turbo Adapter together with Turbo Programmer.

There is a special kernel/firmware (that we provide for free by request) that prints all the communication between ME<->SIM in hex and decode it by hand. What you describe is done by SEND_SMS and ENVELOPE SMS PP-DOWNLOAD commands.

It is also possible to write own application without using this debug kernel that intercepts SIM specific SMS (see ACTION_SMS_PP_DOWNLOAD) and just prints the SMS or with the help of tpdu_seek() parse the SMS to get your "what?" answers.

You need the Turbo Programmer to connect the SIM<->Turbo Adapter<->ME combo to PC so you will see the communication and can decode incoming/outgoinf messages. Turbo Lite is a stripped down version without the long connector and not suitable for debugging, you will need a "full" Turbo Adapter (e.g. Naked or better for any mobile phone - this comes with memory card and is better value than Naked).
